The Gerner Family Charitable Gift Fund’s mission is to fund and support nonprofit programs that directly improve the health, education, and welfare of our communities. We want to ensure that our contributions affect meaningful change and material differences in people’s lives.

HOW WE HELP
OUR RECENT & UPCOMING INITIATIVES
REFORESTATION
Our fund is currently working with American Forests, an environmental
nonprofit that aids in reforestation efforts by planting trees in areas of need. We hope to financially support their forest restoration project in Colorado, in response to the damage from the Calwood fire in 2020.
IMPROVING FOOD ACCESS
We are proud to announce the winners of our Spring 2021 Food Insecurity Grant. Click here to learn more about the $28,000 we recently donated in support of projects in South Carolina.
AIDING SURVIVORS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
Our upcoming grant will be offered to nonprofit organizations in Tampa, FL that offer various forms of support for survivors of domestic violence. We hope to open the call for proposals in July 2021.
